The "Words from the Wild" Travel Journal

Ever heard of the movie: The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants? 4 friends from around the world would send these pants around along with a hand-written letter sharing their reflections, lessons, and life updates. No matter where they found themselves in the world, they were connected. This is what Words from the Wild is about, CONNECTION

What is Words from the Wild?

Our version? Connection with our love of the outdoors. We are women who are connected in movement, adventure, exploration, creativity, and genuine raw imperfect personal growth authenticity. ~Wow, that's a mouthful! <3

What You'll Receive:

A slow, cozy, & quiet night in a cabin underneath your soft blanket.

A camping trip alongside the setting sun and crackling fire.

A road trip to a destination you've been wanting to go to!

A fun day hike on the weekend to a nearby trail near home.

You mail it back to me so I can mail it out to the next wild woman.

That's it!

You take the journal out on an outdoor adventure with you, read through the stories from past contributors and contribute to the journal by writing YOUR OWN personal entry.

You are mailed the Words from the Wild Journal.

You sign up to be included in the list of journal contributors. When Chosen...

"This is not about being the best writer, poetic, or the perfect storyteller. In fact, it's quite the opposite. We do enough of that on social media already, don't we? This journal is about connecting with other women (friends) in our shared love of the outdoors and giving voice to real, RAW stories of beautiful female spirits who walk the trails.

I can't wait to read yours."

The Traveling Journal

Words from the Wild

Whether you're in Colorado, Oregon, Washington, California, Wisconsin, or over seas in Europe or Australia, we are all connected. Take your journal with you on an outdoor adventure; a road trip through the mountains, day hike on a nearby trail, camping in the desert, or a slow quiet stay in a cabin. It's your turn to write & contribute to the traveling journal. We are out there, exploring the outdoors, and wild, together.

Read entries written by wild outdoorsy women from all over the world.

Words from the Community

My goal with this journal is to create a fun activity encouraging exploration and mindfulness in the outdoors. We all get to contribute to the journal, no matter WHO you are, because everyone's story is worthy. Yes, I'm talking about yours. This is my way of opening up a safe space to be yourself, share your story, and inspire other wild women from around the world to be unapologetically authentic and explore.

so I'm taking action to create change.

In an online world where we are supposed to feel "connected", I have felt very alone.

Exploring the outdoors, hiking, roadtripping, and camping brings me so much joy! I love those moments when I bump into another woman on the trail and we share our love for the outdoors.

Listening to stories of different backgrounds and journey has fascinated me for years. After listening to so many stories from outdoorsy women, I've realized that we all are wild at heart and yearn for connection.

This journal is a passion project of mine where I can focus on fostering community and giving voice to women of all different backgrounds to share they're story and love of the outdoors.

sharing stories and creating community has always been a passion of mine.
